Partnerships depends on ‘relationships’ because relationships can become partnerships, due to a ‘closeness’ that develops though interactions amongst the partners – interactions that must possess particular qualities such as reciprocity, trust, honesty, equity and good communication.
Community Engagement Partnerships
UWC have student and community representation on their senates, and some of professional advisory committees for courses and professional degrees.
Scholarship is the defining characteristic as an institution of higher learning and which involves research, teaching and learning.
