CEU Colloquium 2021

Various presenters (Local & International) will participate as from the 26 October 2021. A formal #CEUevent programme schedule (per day) is available (either in a summary version or the fulle programme schedule).

This Colloquium Theme will require us all to reflect and deliberate on issues such as:

• Decoloniality in our SoE practice; our SoE Model and Principles of CE at UWC;
• the importance, and different types of, Community-University Partnerships required for impactful societal transformation; and
• the Institutionalization of our SoE to ensure effective measurement and reporting of our SI as a locally impactful and internationally relevant Anchor Institution.

The international Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the National Development Plan (NDP): Vision 2030 of South Africa are the transformational drivers with which we can harness our resources and align our actions, so that we can contribute in an impactful manner through our legislated Higher Education Institute (HEI) core functions of: 

• teaching and learning, 
• research and 
• community engagement. 

This to bring about a sustainable world in which we can all prosper and thrive.
