Former CEU Director

Priscilla Daniels is an Associate Professor and the former Director of the Community Engagement Unit at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). She served as Director of the unit since 2010 and concluded her many years of dedicated service with her retirement in December 2025. Her key responsibilities were facilitating and coordinating community engagement activities at the UWC that enhances enhance and promotes promote the scholarship of engagement through equitable partnership and citizenry to promote sustainable communities.

Prior to this she was manager of the Community Higher Education Services Partnership at UWC and Chairperson of the Department of Human Ecology and Dietetics.
